She knew her Christmas Carols and was able to sing along right before parading up to the tree festival. It was a really fun morning!!

We all laughed at how horrible this picture might look to a social service worker...or any breathing person for that matter. She actually liked being dipped upside down into the water. And I'm guessing those rocks aren't as close as they appear. It was all in the spirit of celebrating the Fourth of July at the lake! I even tried not to squirm when Lucy touched the fish's eyeballs. Thanks, Grandpa, for catching all those little fish for her!
So hard to believe Lucy is 3 and Greta is 1 this year. What a year it has been! Greta adds lots of energy and activity to the Freund house. Constantly moving, toddling, screaming, grabbing, swiping, and "talking." Lucy continues to be a busy social bee, known as the "outgoing" one at her sitter's house.
They still have a lot of bonding to do together... as Greta grows older this year, I anticipate them becoming much closer playmates. As of now, Lucy just tries to keep her toys and food away from Greta- and Luther- or any one or thing that might take her things from her.
We wish everyone good health and happiness in 2010.
